After purchasing this product that I have been having for 6 months now. I was surprise on how great and reliable it kept my files; in the same package it also came with a backup software to back up your computer files. This portable external hard drive came in handy it store allot of information, it’s large in capacity but very compact and light.
The ToshibaUSB 2.0 portable external hard drive is a very attractive lightweight drive that’s prices at a very decent price point for a drive of that capacity. Its size make it great for traveling and storing picture and music but the speed aren’t to far away from other drives we’ve have seen.
The bad things about this drive is theirs no FireWire it makes a very slow when it comes to the written speeds. Other people don’t recommend this product because of the lack of its performance but in my point of view I recommended this product for the reason, I store a lot of programs and it runs perfectly fine I have plenty of music and picture and it don’t seem to go slow.
This portable external drive ranges from $65- and up I purchase my model in Frys Electronics. It includes in the package a USB cable, back up software, warranty information, and quick install guide. The color options include Gecko Green, Hot Rod Red, and Carbon Grey; it varies in memory from a 160GB, 250GB models, and a 320GB version.
